This group is responsible for delivering cloud infrastructure around the world including datacenters, security and compliance, operations, and globalization.We are looking for a high energy individual to help build datacenters throughout the US.

Job Description

The Regional Director of Construction Operations will lead the Datacenter Delivery team in the execution of active construction projects for a region in the US. The Director will supervise and manage the regional team to accelerate construction maximizing ROI.

Job Responsibilities

** Direct the execution planning process for regional project implementation
through Campus and Project Managers at campus and project locations,
subject matter experts, and other stakeholders as appropriate to develop and
communicate project plans with clear targets, measurable outcomes, and
likelihood of successful implementation
** Hold Regional Campus and Project Managers accountable for timely
accomplishment of deliverables, provide guidance, ensure corrective actions
are taken as necessary, monitor metrics, and report progress and challenges
** Leadership, Management, and Governance (“Make things happen”)
** Take accountability for on schedule delivery and financial outcomes of active
** Develop metrics, presentations and reports demonstrating the execution
progress of regional projects.
** Focus on continuous improvement, develop measurable targets, verifiable
milestones and catalytic results
** Manage to appropriate project outcomes, metrics, data collection and reporting.
** In conjunction with the Data Center Execution team, develop &
present requests for capital resources.
** Participate actively in effective governance, policies, and decision-making.
** Drive and demand safe environments on jobsites for all employees, staff and
trade on the job
** Work collaboratively across a cross function regional delivery team of peers
including: Design, Commissioning, Integration, Procurement and Program Controls.


** Experienced execution planner with exceptional people and project
management skills.
** Excellent written and oral communicator. Able to communicate complex
execution strategy and plans clearly to internal and external stakeholders.
** Well-organized, and very comfortable with computers.
** Able to lead diverse groups of staff and contractors.
** Knowledge of commercial and industrial construction, mission critical
environments (N+).
** Proven experience in safety leadership.
** Diverse knowledge of multiple contract methodologies and construction
** Supply chain knowledge, particularly synchronization and coordination of
owner furnished, contractor installed equipment.
** Comfort with modern controls, scheduling practices, BIM and Virtual Design
and Construction.
** Demonstrated experience with Commissioning practices and QA/QC.

Required Experience

** 15+ years of successful, senior/executive level project management in a
preferably global construction company, financial accountability, startup/fast-growing
** Large scale ($300M+) program experience in US and Canada
preferred. International experience is acceptable.

Required Education

** Bachelor’s degree required, relevant advanced degree or certification
