Job Description

Test Engineer for system test development and validation of our Spatial Computing system that provides a realistic 3D augmented environment on top of the real world. Position will focus on the test development and execution across the entire product

Job Responsibilities

●As a Test Engineer you will execute suites of test cases both manually and through automation to validate targeted areas of our software on a daily basis
●Versatile and able to execute test cases across the entire product end to end that covers many of our software components and disciplines
●Continuous improvement of our overall test coverage by improving existing test cases as well as developing new test cases to fill holes in out coverage
●Support demos and the evaluation of our software for targeted milestones by preparing and/or demonstrating software functionality
●Work hand-in-hand with product teams, key stakeholders and developers
●Analyze various components of the Magic Leap systems, collaborate with various development teams, and use your technical expertise to investigate, troubleshoot and verify software defects and other technical issues
●Analyze and report on test progress, status and performance metrics


Required Experience

●5+ years proficient experience working on software products / mobile applications in QA / Automation related testing
●Knowledgeable on Linux OS
●Expertise with C#, C++, or shell scripts
●Thorough understanding of all test fundamentals, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), test management tools, and defect tracking tools
●Good troubleshooting skills to root cause complex issues
●Excellent communication, problem-solving, debugging and troubleshooting skills to root cause complex issues
●Excel in a fast-paced, agile environment supporting multiple projects using a wide variety of technologies
●Excellent oral, written communication and effective presentation skills along with a dynamic and “can do” attitude

Required Education

BS in Computer Science is required. MS is preferred.
