Job Description



Are you looking to join a team of innovators, implementors and industry disruptors? We are looking for a Senior UX Designer to help with design and implementation for our suite of VR/AR applications. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with a small team of artists and engineers to build ground breaking technologies and platforms to innovate the retail experience in unexpected ways.

As a Senior UX Designer, you will design and implement user experience and interface designs for the projects that we produce. You are expected to be able to use UX and UI tools and software with high proficiency in a highly iterative, self-starting environment.

Job Responsibilities



• Lead visual design throughout the product life-cycle of all application and projects, from conceptualization to final deliverables
• Cultivate relationships with customers/key partners and design a workflow to meet their needs
• Build specifications and develope wire-frames/mock-ups, etc. and design prototypes
• Own key UX/UI systems and collaboration with Engineers
• Meet with artists and software engineers to ensure that the concepts and content of assigned UX/UI implementations meet design requirements
• Craft and maintain design documents as well as create style guide
• Ensure UI designs work optimally on various mobile resolutions/orientations
• Build end to end user flows and review UX/UI across projects
• Conduct user research as well as competitor research for current trends and needs
• Communicate with team members, foster a positive working culture and be willing to tackle problems collaboratively


Experience



*Preferred* Qualifications

• AA/BA in a computer graphics related field
• Proficiency in Maya, and Zbrush or other 3D software programs a bonus
• 3-5+ yrs UX/UI design experience, working on AAA games and/or VR/AR applications
• Traditional art background
• Experience working with Unity Prefabs and p4 Branches
• Rapid Prototyping skills and experience
• Previous experience in Agile work environment


Required Experience



• Advanced level proficiency using Adobe Illustrator
• Intermediate level of proficiency using Adobe Photoshop
• High attention to detail and enthusiasm for producing polished UX
• Proficiency with UI Animations, ideally directly in Unity
• Ability to craft and follow a style guide with success
• Understanding of art fundamentals such as: proportion, perspective, lighting, and color theory
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with your fellow teams and achieve success working in a group
• Some experience with Unity development for iOS and/or Android deployment
