Job Description

You’ll be the owner leading a team responsible for the foundation of our suite of SAAS applications. In this role you will work with the team to develop, deploy, and scale infrastructure new and existing products. This includes owning the ongoing development our 3d scan pipeline, library of 3D content, data, and tools to provide support for our customers. Additionally, you’ll work with a variety of languages, frameworks, and engines.

Job Responsibilities

• Accountable for development of our SaaS platforms, Cloud infrastructure, Data collection/processing and photogrammetry pipelines
• Provide inter-team technical coordination between active projects
• Partner with key leaders to help drive development and create project roadmaps
• Establish and implement best practices, code reviews, and development procedures
• Provide focused technical guidance and decision making ensuring positive progress toward goals
• Responsible for leading development, maintenance, and deployment of live services
• Work closely with team to drive feature richness of in-house application support infrastructure and API’s
• Helps clarify high level goals, build a plan of action, and quantify success criteria for the engineering team
• Ensure the team writes modular and maintainable code to interface with changing software and hardware endpoints on a live system
• Regularly communicate with designers, producers, artists, and more to guide the development of automated features, improve their efficiency and quality of work


• Commercial game engine experience (Unity/Unreal/Amazon Lumberyard)

Required Experience

• 3+ years leading a team of software engineers in a live development environment
• 5+ years hands-on experience building complex solutions, ideally SaaS in the cloud
• Experience working with Cloud infrastructure, data pipelines, continuous integration and build systems
• Experience in high performance computing, machine learning, big data analysis or related areas is preferred
• Strong in C#, JavaScript and experience with other programming languages. (python, C++)
• Experienced UI framework experience (React/AngularJS/QT)
• Experience with serverless computing technologies. (Amazon Lamba, Azure Functions, Google Cloud Functions)
• Development experience building custom tools for production environment
• Linux admin experience
• Demonstrated success leading a team to deliver on project goals and shipping products

Required Education

• BS/MS in Computer Science.
