Job Description



You’ll be responsible for building and leading a team responsible for the foundation for our AR/VR suite of applications. In this role, you will recruit, build and lead a team that will develop infrastructure and clean application code inside of the Unity3D environment to support a massive library of 3D scan content and 3D tools for home improvement and home renovation.

Job Responsibilities



• Accountable for feature development on AR/VR and mobile platforms
• Provide inter-team technical coordination between active projects
• Partner with key leaders to help drive development and create project roadmaps
• Establish and implement best practices, code reviews, and development procedures
• Provide focused technical guidance and decision making ensuring positive progress toward goals
• Consult with Development Managers to assign resources to projects and tasks
• Regularly participate in code reviews
• Tracks and communicates cross team dependences to key stakeholders
• Helps clarify high level goals, build a plan of action, and quantify success criteria for the engineering team
• Ensure the quality and maintainability of the product code base
• Work independently to identify and pursue areas of improvement throughout all projects


Experience





Required Experience



• 3+ years leading a team of software engineers
• 5+ years working on Mobile games or VR/AR platforms with at least 3 shipped titles
• Experience working with in-house or commercial game engines such as, Unity, Unreal, Etc..
• Knowledgeable in game engine development subsystems, AI, animation, rendering, physics and content management
• Can contribute effective code to projects as needed
• Experienced with modern coding languages, techniques, and platforms
• PBR pipeline development or photo real rendering experience
• Familiarity with continuous integration and build systems
• Experience with UI and frontend development
• Tools creation and pipeline development
• Linux admin experience
• Demonstrated success leading a team to deliver on project goals and shipping products


Required Education



• BS/MS in Computer Science.
