My path to being a Technical Recruiter started when I was a Sales Rep selling Telecom services back in 1996. One of my calls was to a small recruiting firm in Foster City, which ended up recruiting me and my life has been recruiting focused since.
While the mechanics of a job search are very basic, its the intricate details that can muddle things up. That's where my experience comes in. One thing I will never do is to send your resume to a client without finding out if you are interested in the opportunity.
I am also a firm believer that if I treat my candidates and clients with respect and professionalism, they will be relationships for life. This is important, as the key to being a successful recruiter is the ability to have candidates feel comfortable about giving their friends as referrals.

*Design and develop highly scalable and secure enterprise class web applications
*Own and lead software projects from conception to release
*Work with other software engineers and product managers as part of a small agile development team
*Facilitate best architectural, UX, and coding best practices
*Serve as a technical mentor for development team
*Perform code reviews and help the team to produce quality code
*Collaborate cross functionally to communicate the progress of deliverables
*Work with Product, QE, DevOps to deliver features on time
*Work closely with the team to groom, estimate and plan development efforts

*5+ years of work experience in software development
*3+ years of Full Stack experience
*2+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails or equivalent (or desire to learn)
*Relevant domain experience developing software for Fintech, Banking or Financial Services companies is a huge plus.
*Working experience with web services - REST
*Contributed and launched your own web application deployed on cloud computing platforms (AWS, Rackspace, etc.)
*Proficient with SQL and fundamental relational database concepts.
*Experience with Agile and Scrum Software Development Life Cycle Models
*An active Github/Bitbucket/Beanstalk account
*Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
