We are looking for a Data Warehouse Architect who will lead the evolution of our next-gen Data Warehouse and will be responsible for enabling the massive amount of Data to be used for various production scenarios and insights.
Architect and lead technology of large scale and high traffic data warehouse platform
Conceive, design, develop and deploy the data architecture and data models from scratch
Collaborate across business units (BI, Product, Reporting) to develop data warehouse platform vision, strategy, and roadmap
Train and mentor the team in data modeling and data quality related processes and standards
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields
5+ years of prior experience in Data Warehousing
Strong conceptual, relational and dimensional data modeling skills
Data modeling expertise and a thorough understanding of logical modeling concepts
Strong SQL abilities and experience with massive relational database systems.
Experience building ETL and familiarity with design principles
Experience with distributed systems and application design in a SOA environment
Being analytical with strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
Being a self-starter and results-oriented with a strong sense of ownership
And for bonus points:
Knowledge of high-scale performance and optimization tools and techniques
Experience with AWS (configuring, deploying, managing, monitoring) services and distributed applications
