WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
** You will be a headhunter. You don't live on job boards or actives, you search our high value individuals that will need some influencing in order to move.
** The Talent Recruiter is a expected to be a hunter, responsible for building, qualifying and managing a pipeline of top candidates through prospecting, acquisition, development, radiating and proliferating throughout Fortune 500 companies.
** Identify, engage, and recruit qualified candidates by performing sourcing activities to include, but not limited to: market and Internet research identifying alternate candidate sources, cold calling, executing recruiting calls, referral recruiting, online social networking, attending seminars and local networking events. Determine and implement appropriate recruiting techniques for market, industry, skill set, and region. Extra points for more creative methods!
** Qualify candidates by conducting telephone and in-person interviews to obtain work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements.
** Analyze client requirements against qualifications of candidates and match the best candidate with client needs.
** Engage with influential members of the technical community to proactively identify qualified professionals, including engagement with start-ups, corporate leaders, and thought leaders.
** Develop and maintain a high level understanding of our business offerings, competitive differentiation, rebuttals, etc.
** Most importantly raising the ‘Bar’ within Verticalmove. You’ll be part of a small company and team, your energy and passion will be infectious. Your positive attitude will be inspiring to the rest of the group. We have a ‘No Jerk’ (putting it nicely) policy, no attitudes allowed.
WHAT ARE THE NON-NEGOTIABLE MUST HAVES FOR THIS ROLE:
** Sales and Telesales in a high volume cold-calling environment is absolutely required. If you are afraid to cold-call this position is NOT right for you.
** Must have OUTSTANDING written and oral communications skills. In this position you will be communicating with highly educated and respected professionals and its a must to carry an intelligent and informed conversation. You will be documenting every detail of each conversation(s) so good spelling and grammar are required.
** Must understand the differences between a relationship-driven business and a transactional business - we're a relationship-driven business.
** Must exhibit a strong work ethic at all times. No entitlement mentality here. You must be willing to work as long and hard as necessary to achieve your goals and excellence.
** Relentless self-starter who requires little management or oversight. Someone who is autonomous, picks things up quickly and demonstrates a high-level of common sense and problem solving abilities.
** Competitive. The desire to be #1 but the maturity and professionalism to handle being #2 when it happens.
* College degree preferred but not required. Being curious, smart and ambitious/driven is an acceptable alternative to having a College degree.
