Job Description



** This position’s primary role will be to support our internal company requests as it pertains to our cloud delivery infrastructure - handling security and compliance requests, supporting developers and triage of production system issues.

** Build, maintain and troubleshoot multi tier cloud applications (IaaS).

** Work with both internal and external groups to ensure systems are effectively integrated, configured, managed and supported in production.

** Design and implement automation using Chef for orchestration of production and development systems.


Job Responsibilities



** Designing and implementing automation for orchestration of production and development systems.

** Experience in CI/CD principles / practices and accompanying tools like Jenkins.

** Experience working with NoSQL databases such Cassandra, MongoDB, Redis, etc.

** Assisting in maintaining information security practices and procedures at the Enterprise level.

** Working with both internal and external groups to ensure systems are effectively integrated, configured, managed and supported in production.

** Working in an agile environment and finding unique ways to do DevOps.

** Keeping up on the latest trends, watching for new technology that can improve our workflow.


Experience



** Working with a IaaS vendor such as: Amazon Web Services, Rackspace cloud or SoftLayer.

** Orchestrating large-scale server deployments and configuration across nodes in the K's.

** Working with information security compliance programs such as SOC2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP and PCI.

** Understanding of infrastructure-as-code.

** Working with tools such as Git, Jira, and other managed workflows.

** Passion for Security, Scalability, and maintaining HA.

** You are an effective communicator.

** You are very organized with a keen attention to detail.

** You drive to succeed in a fast pace and continuously evolving environment.
