In this role, you will identify, prospect, develop and close new business opportunities within key enterprise clients.
Develop and/or expand relationships with a key customer to drive business and company strategy. Work closely with others on the Account Team and internal organizations to communicate a vision for client engagement and to drive sales.
In an Account Team Lead role, develop and implement an account plan consistent with
these objectives, and participate in Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) to track progress to shared goals and success factors.
** Cultivate and grow existing customer relationships and help establish new ones.
** Develop sales opportunities, perform needs assessments and outline solutions.
** Coordinate assigned resources and internal account team members.
** Respond to assigned lead development, marketing programs and campaigns
** Keep opportunities and status current in company CRM system.
** Respond to inquiries, identify and qualify opportunities.
** Introduce new products, benefits and features to customers and prospects.
** Identify and respond to RFI, RFP and RFQ opportunities along with inside sales team.
** Develop account plans and forecast.
** Define ways to handle product gaps, stay current on competitive alternatives.
** Obtain and maintain vendor certifications as required.
**Design and deliver customer presentations.
** Participate at conferences, tradeshows, and other events as required by Sales.
** Associate with meaningful networking communities, user groups, industry groups, etc.
** Five to ten years’ experience required driving solutions-oriented sales at all levels within the information Technology industry. Product experience with datacenter infrastructure, cloud solutions and IT operations software is a plus.
** Major accounts experience required, strong selling and sales aptitude.
** A good understanding of distribution, supply chain, manufacturing, finance and business issues; IT operational process.
** Proven success-presenting technology as business solutions in complex environments.
** Able to prioritize and self-manage work; multi-tasking in a high paced environment.
**College degree is highly desired, or equivalent experience required
